{"id":653,"date":"2023-09-19T10:00:46","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T10:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.hanken.fi\/research-funding-blog\/?p=653"},"modified":"2023-09-20T07:04:20","modified_gmt":"2023-09-20T07:04:20","slug":"call-for-applications-to-join-the-expert-group-on-the-economic-and-societal-impact-of-research-and-innovation-esir3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.hanken.fi\/research-funding-blog\/2023\/09\/19\/call-for-applications-to-join-the-expert-group-on-the-economic-and-societal-impact-of-research-and-innovation-esir3\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for applications to join the Expert group on the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR3)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) has published a call for applications for experts for the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR3) expert group. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The group will support DG RTD in developing an evidence-based, transformative R&amp;I policy that drives sustainability transitions in Europe and faces future challenges, such as:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting systemic transitions for sustainable, inclusive and prosperous societies through EU R&amp;I policy;<\/li>\n<li>Enabling EU R&amp;I policy to play a role in technology governance, from artificial intelligence to the green transition;<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the definition of a new socio-economic model for Europe through R&amp;I policy;<\/li>\n<li>Clarifying the role of R&amp;I policy in fostering innovation and contribute to the European Research Area (ERA) goal of bridging the innovation divide and enabling the emergence of novel ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you eager to make a meaningful contribution? Ready to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and take part in stimulating discussions with policymakers? If so, consider applying to ESIR3.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call will run until 30 September 2023 (12:00 CEST).
