The application can be submitted between 15 October and 12 November 2025 at 16.15 Finnish time. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Academy Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applications invited from <strong>individual research teams or consortia <\/strong>composed of two or more teams. Usually the PI is a researcher at the <strong>professor or docent level<\/strong>. <\/li><li>Maximum funding \u20ac600,000 for four-year project, \u20ac1m for consortium project and \u20ac500,000 for consortium subproject; maximum funding proportional to project or subproject duration.<\/li><li>Funding to hire a research team and cover direct research costs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Academy Research Fellowships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For talented early career <strong>individual researchers<\/strong> with first doctoral certificate dated between <strong>1 January 2019 and 31 January 2024<\/strong><\/li><li>Intended for a researcher who does not yet hold a permanent and senior research position. If you have a fixed-term position in a university\u2019s tenure-track system, for example, you can apply for an Academy Research Fellowship.<\/li><li>The four-year funding that can cover applicant\u2019s own salary, salary costs of possible research team and other research costs.<\/li><li>Maximum funding granted comes to <strong>\u20ac700,000<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aka.fi\/en\/research-funding\/apply-for-funding\/calls-for-applications\/\">Read the call texts here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Information and support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support applicants, Hanken\u2019s research funding services will offer info sessions as well as a dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/l\/channel\/19%3A763b667d4ed54ecdad3627a344d4c9bb%40thread.tacv2\/Research%20Council%20of%20Finland?groupId=935fc3d1-19f7-48ff-844e-62540533dbe6&amp;tenantId=6f304f3d-06b9-443c-802a-0606f683d043\">Teams channel<\/a> for regular updates regarding the call.
