Academics from ENGAGE.EU universities (Hanken, Luiss, NHH, Tilburg University, UMA, UNWE, URL, UT Capitole, WU) are invited to submit proposals for bottom-up scientific initiatives through the availability of seed funding. This call aims to encourage ENGAGE.EU scientific collaborations and foster new opportunities to develop initiatives across the alliance. Senior researchers and early-stage researchers, including doctoral researchers, are encouraged to participate in this call. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ENGAGE.EU research label funds smaller scale, limited in time, bottom-up initiatives, to facilitate the initiation of potential long-term collaborative activities within the alliance. The funding is up to 8500 \u20ac per initiative. The call text can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"here (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engageuniversity.eu\/engage-eu-research-label\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be\neligible, applications must: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>connect at least three partner universities of the alliance but we strongly encourage involving four or more ENGAGE.EU partners <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>be related to at least one societal challenge (SDG \u2013 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>not receive Horizon Europe or Erasmus + funding for this specific Initiative already (i.e., no double EU funding of activities); the ENGAGE.EU research label cannot fund\/support any initiatives aiming at applying at EU funding either.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nENGAGE.EU research label funding aims to support initiative of scientific\ncollaborations in their early stages. Therefore, seed-funded initiatives can\nfit under a wide variety of definitions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Joint workshop<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conference<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cross-disciplinary seminar<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dissemination event\/content for the public at large<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Research training<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conducting surveys, developing research materials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Preparation for large-scale proposal (<strong>NB<\/strong>: the ENGAGE.EU research label <em>cannot fund\/support any initiatives aiming at applying at EU funding<\/em>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Producing awareness-raising material for the Alliance<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Joint publications<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call opens on <strong>April 29 <\/strong>and closes <strong>June 10<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A separate online info session will be organised on <strong>May 14 at 13:00-14:00<\/strong>. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Link (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/ut-capitole-fr.zoom.us\/j\/95884708199?pwd=eG5kNndSNENPMy9FT0xIaWZocVprZz09\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Link<\/strong><\/a> to the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hanken is part of ENGAGE.EU university alliance.
