A recording and slides from the recent COST Info Day 2024 are now available<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A COST Action is an interdisciplinary research network that brings researchers and innovators together to investigate a topic of their choice for 4 years. COST Actions are typically made up of researchers from academia, SMEs, public institutions and other relevant organisations or interested parties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note that the funding a COST Action receives covers the expenses of networking activities rather than research<\/strong>. As such is used to organise and fund events, Short-term Scientific Missions, Training Schools, communication activities, and virtual networking tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n An estimated \u20ac125,000 is made available for a COST Action in its first year and an average of \u20ac150,000 per year for the other 3 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Open to all science and technology fields, including new and emerging fields; COST Actions offer an inclusive, pan-European environment for individuals of all levels of seniority to grow their professional research networks and boost their careers.
