Business Finland provides funding for research organizations and promote collaboration between research and business. Currently there are several open calls that may be of interest to Hanken’s researchers.
- Innovation and growth research funding call: Innovation and Growth Research is Business Finland’s research call for proposals to tackle global challenges facing the Finnish economy and society. The themes of the funded projects are related to research on innovation activities and growth. Research themes in 2024 are internationalisation, geopolitics and well-being. Idea applications should be submitted by 23 February.
- Research to Business – funding for the commercialization preparation of research results: The purpose of the commercialization preparation is to clarify the potential exploitation paths of the product or service idea and to help choose the most promising paths and ways that can lead to business either in a new start-up or in an existing company. Deadline for applications is 6 March 2024.
- One Health research call: The aim of the One Health research call is to create new expertise and a basis for developing new solutions for maintaining health, predicting and preventing diseases, promoting digitalization in healthcare processes, and effective and personalized care. Deadline for applications is 27 March.
- Funding for research related to the circular economy of industrial material flows: In this funding call, we are looking for research projects that explore, develop, and promote the circular economy of industrial material streams. The aim of the program is to increase Finnish cross-sectoral expertise in the circular economy of industrial material flows and to promote the efficient utilization of material-intensive industrial waste and side streams towards zero waste. Deadline for applications is 10 April.
