Thammasat Business School invites applications for a Research Grant. The Grant entails grants for research and publication awards for scholars who have a 3-year-contract with TBS. The deadline for applications is January 31.
The applicant must hold a faculty position or have prior experience as a lecturer at a recognized international university and a PhD degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields is required. The applicant fills out the Google form and attaches a CV/Resume.

Grant types:
- Research Grant for Publication: THB 350,00 after a research paper has been accepted for publication in an international peer-reviewed journal (Scopus Q1-Q4, or AJG, or ABDC).
- Publication Award: THB 500,000 per article published in TBS’s Top tier journal list (4* in AJG list pr A* in ABDC list). THB 150,000 per article published in TBS’s Second Tier Journal list (Scopus Q1 and Q2 and all in AJG list or ABDC).
Research Themes
A research paper eligible to receive Type 1 and Type 2 must not published MDPI, Frontiers, Hindawi, and predatory publishers. The research should encompass the following seven themes:
- ASEAN Businesses
- Sustainability/ESG/SDGs
- Capital Markets
- Digitalization and AI
- Globalization and Healthcare
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
- Aging and Wellbeing
Upon the approval of research track position, TBS will facilitate collaboration by sharing the designated research topic and plan with the relevant faculty members within the associated departments at TBS.
Terms and Conditions
- The appointed research scholar will receive Dual Affiliation, maintaining their current alongside TBS.
- Publications must be accomplished within the 3-year-contract duration. The researcher must produce a minimum of one working paper or equivalent intellectual contribution (e.g. academic conference proceedings).
- Research grants for publications are contingent upon the publication of research papers co-authored with TBS full-time faculty members. These papers must be published in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Research scholars are required to collaborate and co-publish their work with a TBS-affiliated professor to qualify for funding and official recognition.
- The duration of the agreement shall be 3 years.
