Business Finland provides funding for research organizations and promote collaboration between research and business. Currently there are several open calls that may be of interest to Hanken’s researchers.
- Partnership model funding call for companies and research organizations
- Deadline: 13 September 2023 (several calls are opened annually)
- Funding for projects relating to the subjects described in leading companies’ road maps.
- Research organization’s can apply funding for a co-innovation project (involving several companies or research organizations) or co-research projects (individual research project or a research project involving several research institutes).

- Research to Business – funding for the commercialization preparation of research results
- Deadline: 14 September 2023
- The purpose of the commercialization preparation is for the research organization to clarify the potential exploitation paths of the researched product or service idea.
- Projects typically vary in duration from 12 to 24 months (with total projects cost at max. 700 000-800 000).

- Deadline: several application deadlines in August and September
- Funding for the renewal, sustainable growth, and digitalisation of the creative economies.

- Developing Markets – Co-creation funding call
- Deadline: 26 September 2023
- Funding is allocated towards the creation of sustainable business opportunities in developing markets.
- Research organizations are encouraged to build business-oriented consortia around a selected research idea and identified business opportunities in developing markets.
- The project duration is 4-6 months, and total project costs are limited to 100 000 euros.
