Are you interested in learning more about US funding opportunities? The Finnish-American Research & Innovation Accelerator (FARIA) is a US-focused network, serving as a platform which informs about and supports joint and associated actions of its Finnish member institutions.
The main goal of FARIA is to initiate joint RDI projects aimed at cutting-edge research and innovation together with American partners. The network focuses on research areas where Finnish academics are amongst the leading researchers in the world. The network is coordinated by Aalto University and the University of Helsinki.

FARIA regularly arranges info sessions with a focus on US funding opportunities and related topics. Upcoming events can be found here. Amongst their resources you can find also find recordings of previous webinars on the topics of e.g. “US context and funding for newcomers” and “Creating Networks in the US”.
In collaboration with the Academy of Finland, FARIA also offers the FARIAIncubator, a light-weight matching and preparatory program for US and Finnish researchers. The programme supports joint project team creation and prepares to apply for funding. The preparation is conducted via a series of online seminars which aim to share up to date information of the joint Finnish-US calls and coaching by experienced grant writers. Participation is free of cost.
