The Strategic Research Council is looking for two part-time directors for the research programmes Just Energy and Just Transitions. The call is open between 5 April and 23 May.
The two directors will work part-time (40-60 %) for one of the two programmes:
- Energy Solutions as part of a Just Green Transition (JUST ENERGY) 2023-2029
- Societal Solutions in a Just Green Transition (JUST TRANSITIONS) 2023-2029
The task of the programme director is to build a comprehensive entity with the programme’s projects throughout the programme period. The programme is based on the research and planned cooperation of the funded projects as well as on the interfaces between the programmes. In collaboration with the projects and the Strategic Research Council, the director promotes the clarification of the programmes’ goals and contribute to the monitoring of how the goals are achieved.
The applicant should be a researcher on the level of docent or professor. The applicant must have strong scientific expertise in the programme area and extensive knowledge of national and international collaborative opportunities. The programme director should also have a good knowledge of Finnish.
